Taylorwilsdon
I've got a opteron 1212 processor and I'm looking for a motherboard and video card that will play nice with OSX. What are my options? Gotta be socket AM2 and I don't want some cheap {censored} card. Jak T Rip
Be sure to get a GPU-enhanced gfx board. OSX makes good use of that. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44410-what-parts-to-use-for-opteron-hackintosh/#findComment-319177 Share on other sites
The Shaun
If you're building this machine to run OS X, why not buy Intel parts that you know are going to be compatible? I'm in the same condition as you.....in need to upgrade mobo and vga for OSx86: I've got a 1210 and browsing the wiki I found out that a very good AMD mobo for our purpose is the Asus M2R32-MVP. The same is for a wide range of 7900GS-based VGAs. ....IMHO....
