i dont have a USB mouse at the moment! Any other options??????

You could collect cans and bottles along the road and cash them in to buy a mouse at a thrift store.

I've seen all sorts of mice for $1 or less at local thrift stores. They're also common at recycling centers that take computers. It's possible a different PS/2 mouse or a USB mouse would work.

You can test the motherboard and mouse by booting up another OS. An Ubuntu CD works well for that. (disk image available from official site by direct download or better yet a torrent from there) It also includes a memory test utility.

You could try resetting the BIOS to defaults on the motherboard and starting over.

You could see if the BIOS for your motherboard is the current version

You could check the plug on the mouse cable to make sure it doesn't have bent pins.

You could test your mouse on another computer.

You could borrow a mouse from a friend and try that.

If you don't have such a friend, consider spending less time online.

If you really cannot try another mouse, try another motherboard.
