Hello,

just finished installing Jas 10.4.8 on my LG S1-PDGGG (Details below post).

After restart it tells me :

panic(cpu0 caller 0x003A8D2F): Unable to find driver for this platform: "ACPI".

Debugger called: <panic>
....
Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0x0

I already tried booting with these options:

-s

cpus=1

platform=x86PC

acpi=off

Could not get it started. Can anyone help me to get MacOs running on my Notebook

Btw. Why there are so many Problems with Notebooks that have almost Mac-hardware like Intel-Core Duo and X1600...

My PC (Notebook) :

Intel® Core 2 Duo T5600(1,83Ghz) , (667Mhz FSB) ,

ATI X1600 with 256MB + Hyper Memory

1 GB DDRII-Ram (667MHz)

Tell me if you need more info

Disable 1 core in the bios, boot into OS X, and delete the /System/Library/Extensions/IOPCCardFamily.kext.

Or boot into windows, install MacDrive, and delete the file from within windows.

This is my experience with the kernel panic, don't know of any other solution.
