You need to search the forums before making a post like this. There have been many many discussions about software update, read them and you will have your answer. 2. When you do post a message try to be as specific as possible. For example which security update? Their have been two released for 10.4.8 already. Also what hardware are you running, AMD? Intel? It makes a big difference. I would suggest putting the specs of your machine into your signature.
