Zulu.Walker
No one's answering because you're not providing enough info about your hardware, just your problem. And it seems you're just getting stuck at that point, that's the DVD's kernel just being shown. Most likely you're hardware is incompatible (like the other 2x105 possible PC configurations out there), but of course we won't know until you actually post it. Maybe you should start there? Tons of HOWTOs and compatibilty lists in the forum as well as the wiki. Zulu.Walker
1st off: *No one with less then SSE2 has any chance *SSE3 is preferred and will run rosetta the fastest. *SSE2 can run os x intel but with patches such as in coregraphics, there now are new patches that will allow rosetta to run. If you need to find information on if you proccesor contains sse2 or sse3 please download CPU-Z from HERE ---thanks sportman My Duron 1.8 (not the machine I'm going to try osx86 on) has only SSE and I can use vmware just fine- unless you mean, use it to emulate an SSE2 cpu, in that case is a big fat no. C'mon man, do a little searching. Just waiting on yer ass waiting for replies while complaining that the geniuses can't solve your problem when you could've used the Forum and Thread Search for "AMD Duron" and gotten your answer in 5mins... :gasp: There is a "Search" feature, and a little eye-exercise can't hurt. Get a new rig before dreaming on getting OSX86 to work. Oh yeah, there's a search button. Yes there's a search button. Search. A nifty feature of all public forums is the "Search" feature. I just can't STRESS it enough. Edit: Oh, just a quick tip. Maybe you'd want to read up some docs on the software/package before you download it. It just might save you your time and HD space. Thanks for seeding! Edit2: Oh, another tip. You can use google to search only specific sites/addresses by using Advanced Search. Oh the wonders of the web. Zulu.Walker
Haven't heard of anyone running off an AMD ATI-chipset. Can't offer you any help, but if you really want to make OSX86 work, you gotta get a compatible motherboard (nvidia nForce). You'll have more luck with that.
