Chrisp7 Posted March 1, 2007 Share Posted March 1, 2007 (edited) I am trying to install myWG311t Wifi card however I seem to have fallen at the first hurdle..actually finding some of the system files to edit/add! i am following these steps: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry238508 However a) I cant find : /library/systemconfiguration/networkinterfaces.plist and I cant find IO80211Family.kext from the 10.4.5 update (using pacifist to search/browse) is it something to do with permisions? I have looked around a lot and even /library/systemconfiguration/ doesnt seem to exist.. I am using the latest Jas 10.4.8 Cheers Guys:) ps And please if poss its easier if I use GUi as I find terminal rather hard (sorry!) pps Do I need to even update the kext if I have installed the 10.4.8 latest version?
