Slavens
I have several cd/dvd drives that I can put in my laptop. When I get that error, it usually means that I've stuck a DVD in a CD-ROM drive..... just my $.02 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4378-reboot-and-select-proper-boot-device/#findComment-319878 Share on other sites
hecker
The error means that the BIOS cannot startup from the selected device. Usually this means that there was no boot record found. Make sure you chose the correct booting device in the BIOS. If booting from CD/DVD doesn't work, then you might have a faulty ISO. hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4378-reboot-and-select-proper-boot-device/#findComment-319883 Share on other sites
