hey guys i tried to search and google around but can't seem to find the same problem as i am..

my problem is when booting, after apple logo loading it hangs..

i try to boot with -v,no kernel panic and i can't find the problem(meaning there's no error on those white text)..

i install 10.4.6 previously and this problem doesn't happen..

help please..thx.....

You need to find out what the real problem is and not just symptoms (system hanging).

I will assume you installed that JaS 1048 DVD and that your graphics card is not working properly. If so, then re-install and pick only the packages that you ABSOLUTLY need and nothing else. No natit/titan, etc. and report back.

You could also try removing/disabling all unnecessary drives and devices. Specially SATA drives.

But really, it could be anything with that error description.

Good luck,

hecker

Try to use a older LoginWindow Package, maybe it helps, if i remember right it is on the jas dvd, called Loginwindow.app 10.4.5 oder 10.4.6 or something like that, you can find it also in the installer menu. Here you can find the 10.4.5 loginwindow.app: http://www.badongo.com/file/1755820, it worked for me.

i re install just like you said hecker..and it works..thanx..

just one more thing,my graphics card has qe/ci now but i can't change my resolution :(..

there's no option in display preferences..

i tried install natit but it ended booting in black screen(no boot)..

so i have to uninstall it un -s mode..

any idea?
