Excuse me, what I said is I have problem with restarting, after I hit restart, it will hang me, display turns off, system still is running. But if I choose shutdown, it will be OK.

I also have problem of waking computer up from sleeping...

I think it could be the reason of power supply management. Maybe not.

The reason I asked this question is because I have a DLink DFE-538TX ethernet card, and it has a Mac OS driver from its CD, but after installed it, system asked me to restart, which I couldn't finish correctly, then I had to shutdown and reboot. Then system told me the installation of the card driver wasn't successfully. :thumbsdown_anim:

Sorry to hear that. Did you use the original driver from the CD? I am not sure, but I think must of the drivers must be adapted to work with a hacintosh.

Thanks for your reply, just found out that driver is PPC version, not intel. Anyway, I still have problem to restart my PC. If I want to switch to Winxp, I have to shut down then reboot it... I hate that!

Are you using OSX with VMWare? If not, I don't see how you could "switch" to XP without rebooting.

You could install parallels to load winXp from OSX. It won't be as fast though.

Not VM. I mean the restart option in Mac OS is not working for me, I have to use shutdown option instead then reboot my machine to Winxp.
