Surprised Apple hasn't hired all of these hackers already. anyway, my setup is 1.7 Pentium M dothan, intel 2200BG wireless, Radeon 9600 mobility. Using JaS 10.4.8 SSE2/SSE3 with PPF1 and the Disk Utility PPF. Clean install to HFS+ partition. BOOT 1: no modifications, video at 1024x768, slow, no wireless. Ethernet, sound works. BOOT 2: QE and CI working. Files used to get QE&CI working: Quartzsimple, attached. BOOT 3 (probably actually boot25): got video working at 1400x1350x32, major mouse tearing though and major window tearing (e.g. drag a window and it turns to gibberish). Files used to get video working: ATIScript.z0rz.zip, AGPGart.zip, attached. This file includes callisto versions 3, 5, 8 (which are currently unavailable elsewhere, I guess his website is down). If you're looking for callisto versions in general, download this file. Script parameters (see file readme): /doe.sh cal5 1400x1350x32 2 0 (callisto 5) AGPGart I think it's version 1.1, but i couldn't get 2.2 to work at all. Crashed during boot. BOOT 4: get rid of mouse tearing and window gibberish: Download Mighty Mouse and install it. Restart. Choose attached MM theme (don't remember who made it, please claim!!), poof most errors gone. To get rid of the last of the graphic effects problems, download iCursor (attached) and set it to a theme that is most unobtrusive (I cant even see my mouse trails, but it still has positive graphic effects, gets rid of both window + mouse tearing entirely), also thanks to whoever discovered that (please claim!!). BOOT 5: trying to get wireless working, installed the latest 2200BG file, still not working. See the top thread in this forum, it's about this driver. I see airport but kernel panic when I try to connect to a network. Cheers!!
