d3vious Posted February 25, 2007 Share Posted February 25, 2007 I have been wondering, in the interests of education, how one would build a mac os x tiger World of warcraft server. I've seen guildes for Linux, Windows, Gentus but not mac. why? Tiger includes UNIX in a terminal window. And run linux type programs Using X11 from Finder. I could emulate windows in Crossover or VmWare Fusion as VPC does not run in intel OSX. Or Run MySQL from another emulator called MAMP, which contains a SQL database. I Could also just give up! It will do almost EVERYTHING for you. Very simple and fool proof. I have a 1.12.x version of WoW running.. and its good. I keep it up to date with the current dev builds. I am also trying to build a 2.0.8 BC version.. its nearly there... way - way - way - cool ;-) Good luck!
