iSkylla
Good Afternoon, I've come back to this forum after a while seeking help on Installing OSx86 on my main Laptop. It is a Compal HGL30 built by PowerNotebooks. The specs are as follows: -14.1" WXGA "Glossy" LCD 1280x800 Widescreen -Go 7600 256MB -Intel Core Duo 2.0Ghz T2500 -Arctic Silver 5 -2,048MB Kingston DDR2/667 -100GB SATA/150 7200 RPM -Dual Layer DVD+-RW -Intel 3945 802.11a/b/g The OSX DVDs that I have are: JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich7-R.patch.Integrated Mac-OS-X-10.4.7-AMD.Intel-(JaS)-ISO-Repack I tried the first one and I got the blue screen with the spinning ball and then it just shut off. So when the 10.4.7 finishes, I'll try that. I was wondering if people could guide me with my install. Currently I have Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy on my computer as my primary OS but if I can get OSX working well, I'm just going to use that and possibly install Windows XP or Vista at a later date. Thank you for your time. -Max P.S.
