jimbo1
Alright so I've encountered yet another problem on my way to dual booting vista and os x 10.4.8. First of all, I'm using 10.4.8 with the ppf1 and Defiant.diskutil.7 patches. I set aside 10gb on the back end of my harddrive for os x. I put all of this into diskpart command: list disk select disk [my disk number] create partition primary id=af list partition select partition [my partition number] active I put in my os x dvd, reboot, and it comes up with the "missing operating system" error. I'm not sure where to go from here. I couldn't find much information about it, so I was hoping you guys could help me out with it a bit. Thanks. hecker
You need to fix your MBR to be able to boot Vista or OSX. People seem to have success using the Acronis Boot Manager program. hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43411-missing-operating-system-trying-to-install-osx/#findComment-310291 Share on other sites
