feriso
Running 10.4.8 under vmware and it runs fine at native resolution (1024*768) but on boot up it stops at the ACPI Sleep 'check' if I use the "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" option (checked using the -v flag) Can I use this option when OSX has booted up to change the resolution? rvd
Be careful. I have had this exact problem, except when I tried to fix it, I could no longer get a GUI, I got a blue screen and cursor. I had to do a fresh reinstall and so I believe that I am stuck at 1024x768. I guess my HP dv1000 likes this resolution, but I would love to convince it to live at 1280x1024. Any ideas?
