tops
I recently added the rd=disk1s2 flag in boot.plist. I think I did it wrong, because now on boot it gives me the prohibitory sign at the apple screen. Is there anything I can do to remove that string in boot.plist with the installation dvd or safe mode or something? Thanks ahead of time. Neonkoala
As the system boots up bash F8 with vigour until the bootloader shows up, if the Apple screen shows reboot and try again. Then you can type in your own boot options and avoid using the com.Apple.boot.plist file. Neonkoala
If you normally type cpus=1 as your boot option type that and the rd=disk?s? depending on what the correct OS X partition is. cpus=1 rd=disk0s1 Is the example if it is the first partition.
