A dual boot OSX86/Linux should be simple:

1) install OSX86 (via dd or with a DVD)

Guides are here:

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...allation_Guides

2) install Ubuntu with Grub as bootloader and configure a section for OSX86

Here you have an exemple for a tri boot. If you pass the section with XP you can use it to make a dual boot:

Yes, take a look at the installation guides in the wiki. They are some OSX86 installs via dd or a DVD to a partition until a disk. You just need to make some free space on your HD.

If it's your first OSX86 installation make a backup of your data first, with a mistake you can delete everything.

Great, looks like you're well on your way! Just set up your partitions as you want them from inside ubuntu, boot the osx86 dvd & install, & then set it up in your bootloader. Easy!

ehehe i think i ve to read very carefully how to set up my loader..i've never done it....i'm a fresh-to-ubuntu-guy....i left xp almost a kmonth ago..but i'm very happy about my progression with ubuntu...i went drunk when i finshed to set up a wireless connection with usb adapter wrapping files :(
