tipsy31191 Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 when i try booting into Mac OS X i get to the grey screen with the apple and after a minute or so a little error sign appears, kinda like the ones on top of cigarettes for no smoking signs. The Baron Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 It's kernel panic. You need to press f8 before the darwin bootloader, then use -v as a boot option. You should then post the last couple of lines of info (when it crashes) here and someone should be a able to help you. The thing now is, whether I use -v or regular boot all this text starts scrolling through my screen and then the screen goes black for about 10 seconds before reboot.
