riktor
I've got a stable install of 10.4.8 JaS. OS X sees my SATA drives though they are RAID 0 in for windows right now, so I just eject them since OS X cant read them. But my question is, since OS X works great and I have spent a large majority of my time working in OS X, so has anyone gotten an Nforce3 250gb RAID to work in OS X whether bootable or or at least for storage on video software? riktor
Ok for Final Cut Pro purposes Im going to try to make a RAID 0 from these drives (seperate from the boot drive) after a clean install of both windows and os x. But last check anyone know if this will work, I just assume that I use the disk utility to set up a software raid. macgirl
You can make a RAID but you can't boot from it, the good news is you can use it for data. riktor
Thank you macgirl thats all I needed to know. Final Cut Pro is much better when streamed from a RAID :) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42976-nforce3-250gb-raid-0-possible/#findComment-310646 Share on other sites
