squimmy
Hi, I've installed Callisto and buggered the install. If I let it boot it gets to a screen telling me to reboot in English and other languages. I installed Callisto b008 following this thread.. I obviously have no GUI access, but I'm pretty sure I can boot into single user mode, so that's my last hope. My graphics card is an X800 GTO2, however after seeing this thread I bios flashed the card to a different SubSystem ID, would this make a difference? Thanks for the help! Ah, screwy me. I didn't read down the thread and managed to uninstall it. Now I have manually boot the resolution in the apple.com.plist.boot file. New question: Is it possible to install koverg without Callisto? dong
QE/CI is supported out of box if no Callisto is applied, thus koverg is not needed. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42948-uninstalling-callisto/#findComment-307119 Share on other sites
squimmy
No it's not - Callisto doesn't work and QE/CI definately isn't working. So I need to install Koverg - somehow. dong
I don't know about X800, but for my X600 and X1400, QE/CI are supported out of box if you don't want to enable resolution change by Callisto patch. After Callisto patch, QE/CI are disabled and have to be reenable by koverg patch and CallistoFB thing.
