spartan015
So on my Macbook (1.8ghz ver. 1gb of RAM) I installed WinXP Pro... It runs... pretty fast compared to my PC (lol AMD XP 3200, 1.2gb RAM) But since I have my PC on and my laptop on, I only have one mouse currently (I have to get another one lol) anywho, right click doesn't exist on the macbook (they should, really, it's convienit then holding down buttons) I have all the drivers installed but eh the volume doesn't work, the screen dimmer thing. (wireless, bluetooth work right after i installed the driver, tho I had to extract the file from boot camp since it couldn't burn cds, it ruined 2 of them thank the maker for flash drives) So do I just uninstall the keyboard interface thing (taskbar) uninstall that, and install inputremap? oh and another question, DirectX work on Macbooks? Ah last thing, I gotta thank this forum, I fixed my Macbook, got everything running and got Windows installed... truly thankful, also I think the forum interface is well done. yep yep, that's all i have to say now, thanks for all the help. (root is fun once u get the hang of it) Edited February 17, 2007 by spartan015 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42737-quick-question-about-macbook-keyboard/ Share on other sites
erbic
But since I have my PC on and my laptop on, I only have one mouse currently (I have to get another one lol) anywho, right click doesn't exist on the macbook (they should, really, it's convienit then holding down buttons) Right click does indeed exist. I don't suppose you've tried clicking with two fingers on the touchpad, have you? That makes Mac OS X interpret the click as a right-click. When installed properly, the Mac drivers for XP should also add that functionality. I'm just waiting for it in Vista... DirectX should work. The integrated graphics really aren't a good idea for any serious gaming, but you should be able to get DX to install. spartan015
yea i figured that out, but sometimes the thing locks up on right click, so left click ends up doing what right click does (happens on pc, all u have to do is right click again and it's back to normal) i don't know how to fix that, it's annoying, i tried inputremapper, that went horrible, i had the apple thing disabled and not running (won't uninstall no matter what i do) oh and i tried Sword of the Stars game on the mac, runs pretty smooth...
