Please someone help me with 8800GTS !

Hey guys. now i know someone here will be able to help me as ive found answers for all my problems before on this site, i searched forums for my problem but cant seem to find any answers.

 

here it is.

 

Ive got 2 harddrives one with xp one with MAC 10.4.8 Jas release. I dual boot the two drives with ACRONIS OS SELECTOR. Everything has been fine, i have intel core 2duo e6400 2gig ddr2 corsair. gigabyte dsq6. and the mac side ran perfect. Now yesterday i bought a new 320mb 8800gts chucked in the pc everything fine went to boot into the mac, get up to the screen with the grey apple and the little spinner underneath, then this grey screen slides down and tells me i need to restart in english and other languages.. do so and same thing again. Obviously has to do with the 8800gts i have.

 

How can i get around this, do i have to wait for something to be released? if so what am i waiting for and where can i look for it? Being a video editor i really need to access my final cut pro asap. Any help would be great.

 

Also why cant mac read NTFS drives? eg. my other hdds i have plugged in.

Even if you get to the gui your card will not be accelerated due to lack of drivers. You need at least quartz extreme support to run Final Cut

Natit Has problems with Cards with over 256mb video ram. you may want to check out the nVidia_EFI for it to work. (both in the Natit Forums)

 

also macFUSE lets you write to NTFS drives check out the genius bar to find out how to install.

Hey there thanks for the quick response. Ill check out that NTFS program asap when i can get back into my hac. Do you think it will be better to just wait until something has been made for the 512 and ^ cards? Do you think lepoard will have support for it?
