phredphish
I've been running JaS 10.4.8 for a few weeks. I must've installed some software that screwed with my installation. ANYWAY, it now doesn't boot up (and I don't really want to lose the installation). So, how do I run in -v mode? I don't ever have a prompt for input of boot options and I've tried holding down command/ctrl/alt/windowskey/everything + v and I've never gotten it to run in verbose mode. All I see is the Darwin Loading/x86 or similar, then it goes to the graphical bootup process (grey apple + spinning progress indicator). I've had success (aka. it works perfectly, only without QE and Core support) in safe mode but no verbose booting (so I can't see where it is erroring out). Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Andrew Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42553-boot-options-n00b-alert/ Share on other sites
