scatman
On my P5B Deluxe the SATA drive was recognized by the installer, but the installation process stopped every time at different points. My solution was to install it onto a USB drive and than clone it to a partion on the SATA drive. Till then everything works fine. dvornik
My serial ata hd is not recognized, the ide one yes.. Weird. On my p5b deluxe sata worked but IDE did not (meaning I had to connect the DVD drive to USB). After the installation everything works. 10.4.8 jas something beta... scatman
Just have a look at the thread below and give it a try. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=42317 But one thing is wirred. Till know all P5B owners reported problems with the jmicron controller, not with the internal ich8. Good luck Scatman Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42369-sata-driver-for-asus-p5b/#findComment-307687 Share on other sites
