mid Posted November 24, 2005 Share Posted November 24, 2005 Hi, I use ASUS pundit too, failed to install, but under VMWARE it works, install on physical HDD thru DVD-kit, but booting directly from HD, always got "Still waiting for root device", OSX seems not find the HDD..... Iceman Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 I had the same problems... I tried disabling anything in BIOS!!! I tried to remove IOPCCARD, IOFirewire and AppleMTRR kext but it's always the same thing... After all, i got "still waiting for root device" Sigh! I suppose it happen cause SIS ide chipset is not recognized...
