fustyler
I'm experiencing the same problem. spec: gigabyte 8Ik1100 Graphics card: Nvidia FX5600 I've done some research on this and have found it to work for another member with the same mobo. How do you manage to press the option key when you're using a PC? I have the same problem as you. juunbug
apple(alt) option , o, and f keys at startup are the same keys you would hold down on an actual Mac to reset the open firmware, why they are working for you in this case I dont know, but go with it. In the mean time it might have happenned becaese you might not have selected the proper patches during install. What patches did you select? edmund
I belive i selected... the intel kext, generic hardware, and thats it.. didnt' need the translation files or extra fonts.. i would have to boot from the dvd to check again what i did select but i do remember the only thing that i selected that was extra was the generic hardware one.. Not sure if this helps anyone out, but I can't get vlc to work either.. it plays the video but the screen is black. Then after about a minute or so it crashes.. is this a graphic card thing or am i missing a patch?
