Hey guys. This forum has been of great help. Much respect to those who go out of there way to help others. Anyway, couple of questions. I've tried searching but have had no luck.

1) How can I get the clock to stay at the right time. I adjust it in OS X but in XP it is 4 hours ahead. BTW I am dual booting with Acronis Boot Selector.

2) When I go under Apple menu and click restart, it does not restart it just shuts down. I then have to hit the power button on the laptop to startup. Under XP when I click restart it actually restarts to the Boot Selector. How do I get OS X to do this.

3) I upgraded to the latest kernel. When I look under the info it just tells me my MAC is OS X 10.4.8. Where can I find this info on the latest kernel.

4) Function keys such as muting and all the other Function F1-F12 dont work.

Thanks guys. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) The time: Have you double-checked to make sure the time is the same in BIOS? Regardless, both OS's are going to have their own time zones, and you need to check for that.

2) Most likely an issue of updating your kernel. Check other boards for the same issue, or wait for a response.

3) Whenever you upgrade a kernel, remember: you're hacking OSX. This most likely will not respond with the appropriate information (plus, OSX 10.4.9 isn't "officially" released yet..., and don't download it when it is..;))

4) Probably a cause of using a hacked kernel. Wait for more information.

Werd.
