glitchman
I am trying to figure out why i cannot get QE and CI to work correctly with my ATI Radeon x800 XT All In Wonder. It has device id 4a4b and vendor id 1002. I am running 10.4.8 with the ATI Kexts and OPENGL Framework from 10.4.4. Without AGPGART or Callisto, i get QE and CI support without resolution changing, but there is a lag that makes using it pointless. Then, i installed Callisto 006 to find that i get resolution changing, but the lag is still there. (See Below) After this, i uninstalled Callisto and then installed AGPGART 2.2 because i thought this might speed up the GUI, but all this succeds in doing is breaking QE, CI, and resolution changing, but giving me AGP support (See below). Finally, I decided to install Callisto b006 and AGPGART at the same time to see if this would fix anything. I followed the instructions in http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=21182, and the result is shown below. Everything works beautifully EXCEPT QE and CI. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get QE and CI without a lag? Help is greatly appreciated. Thank You!
