JaS Posted August 17, 2005 Author Share Posted August 17, 2005 ok well i took a hint from another guy on some other forum ... that i will not mention lol and renamed the ati9700 drivers to 9600 and did the kext load on the atiradeon.kext then the ati9600.kext and loaded fine tiger-x86:~ JaS$ sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeon.kext/ kextload: /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeon.kext/ loaded successfully tiger-x86:~ JaS$ sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeon9600.kext/ kextload: /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeon9600.kext/ loaded successfully tiger-x86:~ JaS$ the other guy got a blue tint to his screen ill check it when i reboot but all seems fine right now inow under graphics/displays i got this Display: Type: VGA-Compatible Controller Bus: PCI Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x4150 Revision ID: 0x0000 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported just wondering is there a way to get core image and quartz working?
