NinoD
Hi all, I'm new here. I've been browsing the site and installed the Tubgirl 10.4.8 release on my PC. Specs are: AMD X2 3800+ Abit AN8 Ultra motherboard 1x 120GB Seagate SATA (3 partitions - 1 of which is a windows install) 1x 200GB Maxtor SATA (4 Partitions) 1x 80GB PATA (OSX install) ATI X850XT PE 1GB RAM Firstly, I had some trouble installing the Tubgirl and JAS releases of 10.4.8 as they were not booting after installation, but I was able to get around that by using Disk Utility of a 10.4.7 Jas install and formatting my PATA drive then installing the Tubgirl installation. The disk utility within the installation detected all my hard drives perfectly fine, and would allow me to erase them if I wished. However, after installing OSX none of my SATA drives are detected. Even in the Disk Utility in OSX they aren't showing up.......even though during installation they showed up fine. What can I do to get around this? I need to be able to access my other drives so that I can transfer data between drives and view my videos/mp3's I tried installing the NTFS 3G MACfuse thing that I found on this forum to enable read/write to NTFS drives, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Does anyone know why my SATA drives aren't showing up and how I can get them working? Also if anyone knows how I can install my X850XT Platinum pcie that'd be great too, as I wasn't able to find drivers for my specific card. Now all I need is some help on the ATi X850XT Platinum drivers and my hackintosh will be in full working order.
