borez Posted November 7, 2005 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Hi all! I'm dualbooting XP and OS X with the XP bootloader, and I've accidentally mounted the OS X partition as the startup disk. This gave me the "Missing Operating System" error, and I have managed to fix it using Partitionmagic. However, when I go back to OS X, there seems to be a error message (something around the lines of "PC is paused for 5 seconds.."), and then it continues loading. I see that the XP partition is no longer mounted in OS X, and when I tried to mount the partition back using Disk Utility, it failed.
