mlmorg
Hi all, I've got an a8n-sli deluxe, athlon 64 3200+ sse2, geforce 6600 0x0141. I installed Jas' new image with ppf and defiant patch but didn't install the NV40 package. I didn't install cause I wanted to try Natit first. So I tried Natit but that didn't work (black screen) and so now I'm thinking of installing the Titan on the jas image. Can I just open up the NV40 package from the dvd and install just with that? or will that create problems. I'd like to try Titan next but omni's website is down so I figured this might work. What do ya'll think? Also, if I do install using the NV40 package, what commands would I use in single user mode to uninstall if I can't boot up. Thanks, Matt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41928-nv40-package-on-jas-new-image/ Share on other sites
LightGun
You have to install the new OpenGL.framework, which you can find for example in the installer of some guy here in the forum for the GeForce 5200 (AGP). And then you should insert your Device ID in GeForce.kext, NVDAResman.kext and NVDAV40Hal.kext. Remember to delete AGPGart.kext, if it doesn't work.
