thunder.scripts Posted February 11, 2007 Author Share Posted February 11, 2007 Thanks for your answer! iEat tried to detect the song information analyzing each song's audio and compairing it to MusicBrainz database, which is slow and, I think, maybe a bit inacurate in some cases (ie. same song in several albums). I want to select several songs, search the amazon database using artist or album name and download the song information. quixos Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 oh yeah, it's still work! have to check length of song, number of songs on albums etc. and sometimes, you can't get any info at all. but it's a resource. i've got this thread bookmarked. and am exploring this very thing myself. if i find anything fantastic and new. i'll post here, and p.m. you. let me know if you find any interesting programs. Plus, the options to download tracks information was disabled. Weird. td0 Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 I use foobar2000 under Crossover. Sort the tracks in the disc order, then select them and use right click/get freedb tags. If nothing could be found, then use right click/masstagger (taggin scripts) to paste the tracklist txt or adjust other settings.
