RocKWooD
I am new in this forum and I need to say WOW!. I searched for my problems and there are lots of different problems and I was not able to find enough solutions for my following problems. So I thought you can help. My hardware LG LW40 Express 1.86 Ghz Intel sonoma Intel 915 graphics Alc 880 sound card 2gb ddr2 ram 60gb hdd Mac os 10.4.8Jas Firstly; I can not use my keyboard. Touchpad works fine. But keyboard does not. There are similar problems in other topics, but here closing usb legacy support from bios does not help. I could not run mac with gma900. I was not able to start mac when I choose this option. If I do not install it I can run with 1024 768 but my screen is 1280 800 and you know it looks really bad. I am not able to use soundcard because I need drivers. Is there any drivers for this sound card? That is all that i need. Please keep in mind that I am new with Mac. Thanks thanks thanks... vitalo
I have LG LS75. Same problem as you. Try few tricks(/etc/rc and change ApplePS2Keyboard) but keyboard still doesnt working. I think it hardware problem. I've read that some lg notebook works LS70, LS50(which use ATI card and different kernel than I). I'll be waiting solution . RocKWooD
Vitalo thanks for the reply. For keyboard did you try; http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=35972 I did not but I will for sure. Please inform me if you find a solution for any problems, because I will definitely inform you and maybe we can solve our problems. Thanks again. Did you also try any other mac os like 10.4.7 or any other? RocKWooD
No luck. Keyboard does not work. I will try some other tricks that I found on net. If you read my previous post before I edit, I am sorry, I wrote it at 5 am in the morning and now I realized I mixed up my problems with yours.(Since I have graphics, ethernet, keyboard problems bla bla bla). Anyways, I can run mac after 10 to 15 retrys, sometimes it does not lock with blue screen and uppps GUI comes. I wish to have a normal Mac like you and all others but gma900 does not allow this. Maybe Jas or B612 will fix it later(I hope). Anyway, if I find a solution for keyboard, I will inform. I thank to everyone that helped me to run Mac in my lovely LG. Since there wont be gma900 drivers for vista, vista with basic UI scks. Mac is great i think.
