codestain
Hello there, For a very long time now I'm trying to install osx86 in my pc with no luck. Finally my last download (jas 10.4.8 install dvd) seemed to work. Well think again! I managed to install Jas 10.4.8 in a external USB hard drive. When I select to boot from the usb it appears: No operating system found My partition is Primary, Active and ID=AF. I tried the fdisk command from the utilities to remake the partition active, just to b e sure.. No luck I checked the drive from the install dvd to verify it's all right.. Passed I tried copying the chain0 to the C: directory and changing the boot.ini. There when I select the OSX it stucks in the grey apple logo. I'm out of ideas. Can anyone help me please? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41858-jas-1048-boot-problem/ Share on other sites

lhsonic
He means after he has installed the OS, he can't boot into it. Yes, I had that problem too with JaS... I used chain0, but it worked for me... If it still doesn't work, use Tubgirl's version. JaS ended up not working after I was able to start the bootup process... it froze...
