    Hello everyone, I have osx86 installed for some months now, but yesterday I made a stupid thing. I changed the resolution and I have no drivers installed yet for my graphics card. Now my screen after loading darwin is blank. Is there a way I can change it back? I don't want to format it again.. Thanks
  3. Wont run installation dvd failure

    I had downloaded many (if not all) versions of 10.4.6-10.4.7.. The only one that worked for me was the Jas 10.4.8 (Intel-AMD) version (Not the Jas 10.4.8 Intel only). And I put it in an external usb hard drive! Chances are that is should work for you too..

    No not all of them, I didn't want my card to explode or something The wiki does say that 008 works with my card.. I think that my system is a little messed up with all the changes, maybe I should reinstall OSX and refix them!

    Hello there again. Unfortunately I can't make OpenGL to work even with your callisto003 files and I don't know why.. I found a little program which checks the OpenGL extensions and it says that I have the latest drivers for my card ..     Thanks for the files captainsquash but I don't know what to do with them! I need step by step instructions cause I'm all new in OSX.. As I said before I already had installed Callisto 008 (I've seen it works with my card in the wiki) and I have a callisto.kext and a callistoHAL.kext in my Extensions folder but in the Graphic card information it sais no kext loaded. I need instructions ...

    In the Extensions folder there isn't any folder called calllisto to be removed and i have a lot of ".bundle" files for ati radeon.. I don't know if that's of any relevance..

    Thanks for the reply captainsquash I have no OpenGL. I tried to load for example Second Life program and it says "Can't load GL context" or something like that. To be sure I downloaded another game using opengl and it can't load. I read in the osx86 page that my card worked with callisto 008 (in JAS 10.4.6, i have 10.4.8) so I downloaded and installed that.. No luck again, opengl doesn't work. I had uninstalled katana before installing callisto 008. System profiler doesn't say anything about callisto! Currently I'm with callisto 008 installed.

    It says it works with callisto driver with osx 10.4.6. I have the Jas 10.4.8 I don't know if there's a difference.. I tried to go to Omni's Callisto project site but it won't work ( http://omni.starchaser.org/callisto ) Is this the right address? I'll keep trying but if someone already as the file please upload it for me

    I have an ATI RV370 RADEON x550 video card. I can't load opengl and I can't find any driver online or on the official ATI site. Does anyone know where I can find a driver? I've seen this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=34409 but it says it's for RV36x and RV38x series.
  15. What about SATA disks?

    I mean I have already installed Jas 10.4.8 on an external disk cause it can't see my main sata one, so probably my chipset is not from those where osx work on sata disks.. I was wandering if there's a way to fix that
