StayingOccupied
Ok i installed XP and made it on a partition that was half of my hard drive. Then i installed OSx86 10.8.4 intel/amd sse2/sse3. But I accidentally installed it over the XP partition. So then i re-installed XP on the 2nd partition(the one i planned on using for OSx86). So when i restart now i dont get the choice to push f8 or whatever to boot into XP. Instead it boots into XP no matter what and i dont know how to get it back to giving me a choice. Any tips? Do i have to re-install both OS's again? Thanks for the help.
elviejo
Google for dual booting with chain0 and you are going to be able to dual boot.
StayingOccupied
Cool man, will do. Thanks. There doesnt happen to be a program that does it, right? I'm just not sure how to get into my OSX partition to get the file i need. Unless i'm reading wrong. The way i installed my osx partition was using the disk utility and i just clicked erase disk and selected the top choice (journaled). So i might have done that wrong according to some of the tutorials.

asap18
If you want to get back into the OS X partition just set the partition active using a boot disk. Then you should be able to use the darwin bootloader (like you probably were before with the F8) to also boot windows.
