If i install vista instead xp what work and what not? i make a list: -> Video card -> Sound -> WebCam build-in -> Ibernation and standby -> Remote control ir -> Wifi -> Bluetuth thanks Most of that stuff will work fine, you will just need to manually extract their drivers from the Boot Camp Drivers CD. Video Card: Should need no drivers. Vista automatically installs a fully-functioning driver. Sound: Needs the Sigmatel and Realtek drivers from the Boot Camp driver disc. iSight: Not working yet. No Vista-compatible drivers have been released for it. Hibernation/Standby: I do not know if it will work properly on an iMac, but there are no issues with my MacBook Pro. Remote Control IR: See here This driver has been known to be temperamental, but it works fine on my MBP. Wi-Fi: Use these drivers. The ones included on the Mac Drivers CD cause the sound to skip, but the ones I linked to resolve that issue. Wait... I forgot the iMacs have a Broadcom wireless chipset. You may experience skipping sound in Vista(while using WiFi) until Apple releases a compatible driver. Bluetooth: IIRC, the drivers on the Mac Drivers CD have been made to work, although you must kick-start Bluetooth on boot. I think mine works, but I have no Bluetooth devices to test it with. Anything that doesn't work properly should be resolved in the near future. I expect Apple to release a new beta version of Boot Camp with Vista-compatible drivers.
