glassJAw
Ok, so I had itunes running playing music and I left downstairs to eat, when I came back, the screen was black and I heard a loop of music clip. What can I do to stop this? All that was working was itunes and the song, nothing else... Prawker
Maybe OS X is setting itself to sleep mode after a certain amount of time. if im not mistaken, the default is somewhere around 20 minutes. Open system preferences and click Energy Saver. The first slider on that page controls the delay before OS X falls asleep, drag it all the way to the right to "Never" and that should fix it! Prawker
to tell you the truth, im not totally sure. I really doubt that sleep mode could have messed something up, and i never got a kernel panic while the OS is running, i only get them at startup randomly. You might try searching a bit more on the forums, but if you can't find anything, then back up and reformat, you've got nothing to lose Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41374-computer-messes-up-when-idle/#findComment-296030 Share on other sites
