Hi,

I'm building an HTPC hackintosh out of an ECS mobo with Intel 915 chipset and GMA900. I've got two OS X installs on there: 10.4.7 JaS and 10.4.8 JaS (the AMD and Intel, SSE2 and 3 compatible version). Under either install, the machine works fine (though wake from sleep is flaky under 10.4.8), but the CPU fan seems to be running full pelt all the time.

Obviously this isnt great for an HTPC. Does anyone know whatI need to do to get it to calm down? Maybe a kext or two from 10.4.5 or something?
