Hi and sorry for the stuped question. Im new to windows trying to get into this mac. I had a network Icon on the sidebar and is no longer there. I would like to put it back there. I was trying to get some files from a windows machine and it had an eject button and i pressed it by mistake and from the moment on i have never been able to put it back there. i guess my Mac know how ends at this. I know this may be something really stuped but i really dont know how to do it. Thank you guys for the help

thanks again

Go to system preferences by clicking on the apple logo in the top left hand corner of the screen and going down to system preferences,

go to network. (You may need to unlock to make changes) Check the "Show Airport Status in menu bar." It will re-appear in the menu bar.

Mmmm yeah- I think he meant the sidebar, as in when you double click on your harddrive and you get all your partitions and personal folders- Network is missing above the partitions and not the menubar on the top right corner...

I'm puzzled by this too- will let you know when I find a solution... if you beat me to it, then kindly post it here.

Muchas Gracias,

T.
