thunder.scripts
I have three partitions: 1. NTFS Win XP 2. FAT32 Files 3. HFS+ OS X I boot using the chain0 method. So, when windows bootloader comes up I select Mac OS, then Darwin bootloader comes up and I have to select the third partition to boot from. Is there any way to avoid the last step? So that Darwin will always boot the third partition? At least have it selected by default so that it can boot without me having to be selecting options from menu after menu. I searched google but it seems to be a bit difficult if not impossible. PS: I read that Darwin will automatically select the active partition. However, does win xp work properly if it's not installed in the active partition? I think it crashed when I did that accidentally in the past :S Thanks!! munky
if you set your OS X partition as the active partition, you wont see the windows bootloader at all, just the darwin one. it will default to the active partition (OS X) but will let you choose to boot your windows partition (which it will refer to, rather nicely, as a 'legacy OS' or something similar).
