ATI AGP res fix, ask to restart

Hey every one i need help with my video card i have an ATI X800 XL 256MB AGP, ive tried several methods to get it to work but none have worked so far. Im more interested with getting the res up to 1600x1200, but if i can also get QE/CI working that would be great.

 

JaS 10.4.8AMD Intel SSe2 SSe3 with PPF 1 and 2

Intel Core 2 Duo 6300

PC Chips P23G v.3

1GB DDR 400

80GB SATA

Sony DRU 800A DVD

ATI X800 XL 256 AGP

onboard AC97 Audio

 

If you have the same card and you got higher res please tell me the method you used and if you got QE/CI working.

 

!!Mine is AGP!! Device id = 0x554d

 

I've tried several methods. the only one i saw improvement was with Katana

I was able to see Resolution options. But if i pick a different resolution i get the gray please restart screen.

 

Also I dont get how to install Natit. Dont get how to install kexts. I simply put them in system/library/extensions and then fix disk permissions. but i dont know what else to do.
