BigBaconAndEggs Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Hi Ive just installed JaS's awesomewickedcool 10.4.8 (also thanks semthex ). So basically im doing what most people do post install, installing drivers, tweaking existing ones, etc. I started without callisto's drivers, stuck at a resolution of 1024. Now thanks to Callisto I have screen resolutions up to and including 1440. I was just wondering If its possible to enable Quarz Extreme and CI somehow? If you can solve the above issue maybe you can also let me know if theres a way to open the OS without using SAFE MODE! At the moment I have to type -x everytime I boot. On a side note I thought that JaS had special drivers included in the release (10.4.8) for AGP ATI cards (I chose something like "ATIRadionAGPx000" in the customize installation)? Before Callisto my card was detected as a 9600 with 16megs of memory! I know it sucks to read through a lot of posts but it's worth it. You will learn many things along the way. There are many great tutorials in this forum and to quote Vince Lombardi: "The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary". Give it a try and use the search tool, will ya?
