I ditched the P4S800D-X motherboard (it kept overheating itself) and got out the old Shuttle AK32A board and installed MAc Os 10.4.8 on it without issue. I have left channel audio only (my next problem to tackle) but my USB ports are not working. I looked in system profiler and got nothing plugge din tot nay port. So I searched and DLed the PCGenUSBEHCI driver and it worked, but didn't. If I plug in my flash drive, it shows up under the system profile,r but not on the desktop or under disk manager. Every I plug in shows up with a DevID and Product ID number and info in system profiler, but nothing works or shows up anywhere (printers, drives ect.). Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, a little more info would maybe help here. I have had 10.4.4 installe don this machine before. It was from the 10.4.4 with 10.4.5 update DVD that went around (I forget the released, but it has Owned, AMDEnabler, and 1045Update as the custom options.) The USB did not work on it but I DLed one of the Debug USB kits and it worked after that. I forget which version it was though and I didn't know if that version would work on 10.4.8 still because for the new kernel. I did a clean install last night and did th driver patch and all I plugge din was my flash drive and it shows up in System Profiler, but still nothing in disk manager or on the desktop. If I probe the USB everything shows up as ok. I didn't have a hub or anything else. I even killed the front USB ports by unplugging then from the motherboard so all I had were the 4 in the back of the case.

EDIT: I got my boards mixed up. This is a Soyo P4VTE board, not the Shuttle AK32A board (That board is socket A Athlon, Sempron only, no SSE2 or SSE3). The Shuttle is in another one of my computers. Sorry about the confusion.
