evincar
Hi, I've been looking over every topic in the forum for the whole evening but so far have not found a solution. I installed jaz 10.4.8 on my laptop. But on reboot while booting into osx, i got the following error: Unable to find driver for this platform: "ACPI" And then you get the nice reboot screen (see attachment). I tried the platform=x86pc did not help. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? My specs: Acer ferrari 4005 Laptop, Amd turion 64 ML-37 1Gb ram Ati radeon x200 chipset Ati radeon x700 vga chip Thanks in advanced for any offered help! dvornik
What options were available to you in the installation optons and what did you select? I've had this problem - but I'm on an Intel platform and I've tried 3 different 10.4.8 DVDs and had a bunch of other problems until it worked. evincar
I had no options. After partitioning it went straight to the installing part. Your suggestion is to find another version? The problem is that i cannot aply any patches because i cannot get to a point where i get a command line or something.
