mrrrl
I understand the theory behind Rosetta, but I don’t understand when someone talks about selecting it to run a program. Can you select to use or not to use Rosetta? How can you tell if a program is using it or not? Any other tricks or tips on Rossetta.
thrunner
Any other tricks or tips on Rossetta Why not do a search on Rosetta (correct spelling) or Transitive (the coder of Rosetta)? http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?ac...lite=transitive A universal binary means both PPC (PowerPC) and Intel code are present. Only then do you have a choice of open with Rosetta (right click on icon, show in finder, right click on icon then get info). If a program is running in Rosetta mode, below the icon in the docking tray, there will be a grey triangle otherwise Intel code will show a solid black triangle). Thanks, never noticed that before. They look almost the same with my monitor settings.
