lotus49
I have been struggling with getting OSX to recognise the ethernet adapter (Broadcom NetXTreme) in my Compaq nc6220 laptop (see my post "The cable for Built-in ethernet is not plugged in") so I wondered if there are any USB 2.0 ethernet adapters that I could use instead (ie ones that do not require a driver or for which an x86 driver is available)? I have looked in the wiki hardware list but none of the supported cards appeared to be USB. lotus49
see herehttp://ralink.rapla.net/ Thanks for your reply. I have ordered one of the wireless cards on this list. What I was really hoping for was a wired ethernet card because I have a rather nifty tiny wireless ethernet bridge that can effectively convert any ethernet adapter into a 802.11g wiireless connection but I have settled for a wireless card.
