demonx
Hey, I've been looking around these forums for a while now and I joined up to ask a few questions about OSX86. I've been searching around and I'm still not fully sure what I need to do to get MAC OSX on my PC. Here are the specs : Core 2 E6300 1.83 Gigabyte GA 965P DS3 1 GB RAM Geforce 7900 GS Audigy 4 SB0610 Sigmatel STAC9750/51 NEC 3500AG IDE Partitions : 250GB (25GB FAT32) - IDE 250GB (Full NTFS) - SATA Questions : 1) Will that sound card work on Mac OSX, It's using the Sigmatel chipset according to Everest. 2) I'm going to split my SATA drive partition to 20GB FAT32 so MAC OSX can format it, Will I still be able to see the FAT32 partition on the IDE drive in MACOSX? 3) Is there an application I can use in MAC OSX that can easily read and write to my NTFS partitions? 4) Can Acronis Dual boot 10.4.8 Jas and Windows XP? 5) What other things do I need to know? demonx
Thanks for the links, But its still very confusing since I can't find any information on my soundcard, but I found these that use the same chipset as my soundcard but are using laptops instead of desktops. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry251505 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40555-advice-on-installation/#findComment-290082 Share on other sites
demonx
Bump, I can't get Mac OSX to install because its only seeing my hard drive as 128GB when its supposed to be 250GB, Why is this? Will changing the SATA chipset work? or is it just the hard drive itself?
