Can anyone give me some feedback on what HDD space i would need if i partitioned my hard drive. what i got: Latitude D600 1.4 GHz 40 GB 512 MB EDIT: I know it sounds stupid, but it would be easier for me. sadiekiller Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 you can do it with VMware and Daemon Tools, its considerable slower on the install, but itl work. look in hte tutorials forum. there is a GIANT topic dedicated to that. it shoudl be stickied. as for hdd space, give about 6 GB alone for the full install and i woudl do at least 8GB if you just want to experiment. if you actually plan to use it, i recoment 10 GB or bigger, just so you can download stuff and not have to worry about storing your files elsewhere.
