Fizzeh
I have the new build running on a powerbook g4 and a powermac g5. Airport works fine on the powerbook, but it will not work at all on the powermac. I tried creating a computer to computer network (from the g5) and even that failed. Ideas? Also to note, in the About this mac thing, it says airport is currently turned off. But that may be refering to that it is not on any network. EDIT: I also booted up from an external with 343 and airport did not work. I booted into my 283 partition, and airport does work. I would really like this to work on the new build. GBK.Xscape
one thing i hope apple updates is the way to pick a wireless network. when you pick one you cannot tell its strength. this is vital when i am in an area with lots of networks
Fizzeh
I tried copying the ktexts for airport from the working leopard build into the newer one, but this did not help
Fizzeh
I now tried ktexts from 10.4.8...nothing seems to be working. I would really appreciate any help (or encouragement). Also of note, the screen that says can not connect to network (when i type the network in manually) now has the four bars in blue, not orange.
